Former Toowong Bowls Club to become site of Brisbane's newest public primary school

 The former Toowong Bowls Club near Perrin Park has been revealed as the location for a new inner-west Brisbane school — Queensland's first vertical public primary school. 

The state government announced the location today, after almost a year of back and forth about the proposed locations.

The first proposed location was the Indooroopilly State High School campus announced in January this year.

The Palaszczuk government announced the $65 million commitment to build a new inner-west primary school to alleviate enrolment pressure in the western suburbs in mid-2020.
